The Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria is filled with gratitude to God following a remarkable academic and leadership achievement recorded by one of its teenage members and NextGen representatives.

Miss Etiyemonu Esther, a member of FGC Mulero (NYSC) in the Orile Agege Zone, Orile Agege Missionary District, has emerged as the Overall Winner of the 21st Edition of the Lagos State Spelling Bee Competition. As part of the honour attached to her victory, she was also celebrated as the One-Day Governor of Lagos State.

This outstanding achievement stands as a powerful testimony of excellence, discipline, and God’s grace at work in the lives of the young people within the church. It also reflects the Church’s commitment to nurturing spiritually grounded and intellectually outstanding youths who are prepared to shine in every sphere of society.

The feat is especially significant as it aligns with the prophetic declaration by the General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, proclaiming 2026 as “Our Year of Divine Honor and Dignity.” Miss Etiyemonu Esther’s recognition at the state level serves as an early and clear confirmation of this divine word.
