ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR MINSTERS AND LEADERS (ICML)

The International Conference for Ministers and Leaders is the official training programme for all ministers and leaders at all levels of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria.

Over the years, attendance has increased continually, with participation from within and outside the Foursquare Church and several other foreign delegates from West Africa, East Africa, Europe and the United States. Attendance from other denominational leaders has also experienced an increase in recent times.

Our target audience this year should be close to twelve thousand people comprising mainly of our pastors, arm leaders, Sunday School Teachers, Church Council members from the local churches nationwide, leaders from the Zones, District and National.

The main focus of ICML is to refresh, re-equip and renew our commitment to the cause of the Gospel in the most effective and efficient way. It is a time to learn from spirit filled men and women of God so that we might be properly grounded in the Word and be pruned for better fruitfulness.

The ICML is usually held in April every year at our Foursquare Camp, Aderupatan, Ajebo located around kilometer 72, off the Lagos Ibadan Express road (About 40 km from the Ibadan old toll gate).

ICML 2021 has its theme as “STEWARDSHIP” (I Cor. 4:1- 2)

Its focus is to reawaken ourselves to the purity of the Church that Christ is presenting to the Father, a Church without spot or wrinkle! A church with a purpose that has to be fulfilled within a limited period of time; a Church that is ready for the Bridegroom.

We would also be sharpening ourselves and improving our skills as ministers through several teachings especially the Learning tracts and the ICT/Media sessions which is geared to maximizing the seed (the Word) using ICT and the social media to reach the world.

 

The conference is mandatory for all Board Members, NEC Members, Pastors, Elders, Deacons, District, Zonal and Local Church Council/ Advisory Committee Members. Also expected at the conference are all Heads of Ministries, Heads of Department,Council of Foursquare Men (CFM) Leaders, Foursquare Women International (FWI) Leaders, Youth Leaders, Teens Leaders, Children Ministry Leaders and all National Fellowship of Foursquare Students Congress (NAFFS) Leaders within the organization locally and internationally. There will also be participants from outside the organization locally and internationally. It is a pre-registered conference.
